Clark Taylor is President of TECO Coal Corp., a subsidiary of TECO Energy. In this role, he is responsible for all TECO Coal operations, including Gatliff Coal Co., Rich Mountain Coal Co., Clintwood Elkhorn Mining Co., Premier Elkhorn Coal Co., Pike-Letcher Land, and Perry County Coal Corp.

Taylor began with Gatliff Coal as Controller and Assistant Secretary in April 1985. In April 1986, he was promoted to Controller and Assistant Treasurer. In April 1988, he was promoted to Vice President and Controller of Gatliff Coal Co. In December 1992, he became Vice President and Controller of TECO Coal Corp. In April 2011, he was promoted to his present position at TECO Coal.

Prior to his employment with TECO, Taylor served as Area Operations Manager and Financial Analyst for Dun & Bradstreet, in charge of the Tulsa, Okla., area office. He also had been employed as an accountant in a public accounting firm in Corbin, Ky. Immediately prior to his employment, Taylor served as General Accounting Manager for Shamrock Coal Co. Inc.

Clark received a Bachelor of Arts from Union College in 1971. He is licensed in Kentucky as a certified public accountant and is a member of both the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a member of the tax division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
